Mission Statement

To provide a professional, friendly and dynamic paediatric physiotherapy service for our clients with a holistic approach, to ensure optimal outcomes and a better quality of life. We aim to provide physiotherapy care of the highest standard, using evidenced-based interventions, that is comprehensive, affordable and easily accessible.

Just4Kids Physiotherapy was established by Julia Crosswell in 2011 and is a small, independently run practice that prides itself on a professional, friendly and holistic approach to the client and family.

Conditions treated

We deliver a specialised physiotherapy service for children aged up to 18, with a focus on children with disability. We treat a range of conditions that affect a child's physical development and mobility, with the most commonly treated conditions including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular conditions, Down syndrome, genetic disorders, and global developmental delay. Please see Does your child need physiotherapy for further info.

Catchment Area

Our treatment area is in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, travelling to Maroondah, Whitehorse, Knox and Yarra Ranges local government areas. We may be able to service other areas by request.

  • A focus on enjoyment and creative ways to incorporate healthy exercise habits into a child’s everyday routine so they can experience the complex benefits over a lifetime.
  • To see clients in their familiar, comfortable environments because research shows that therapy in natural environments is more effective than in traditional, clinic-based settings.

  • An understanding that therapy for children can be costly with an aim to provide an ethical, cost-effective and reasonably priced service. To always be open and honest about charges.
  • A commitment to continued professional development to ensure an evidence-based service is offered that uses the latest research.
  • An aim to educate and empower those involved in the care of the child to reduce reliance on therapist involvement and improve their own knowledge and skills.
